Out of Chaos Comes Order
Effect: The spectator shuffles the deck twice—one shuffle mixes the face-up cards with face-down cards—leaving the deck in a random and chaotic order. The magician announces the number of red face-up cards in the deck.
Phase 2, after cutting the deck, the spectator chooses a number.
The magician reveals the face-down card at the number the spectator said.
Phase 3, after cutting the deck, the spectator names any card in the deck. The magician tells him to count down to a certain number, where the spectator’s name card is found.
The magician never touches the deck.
This is a closer. It is extremely strong and has three phases that build in impossibility. You must know your stack cold. I provide two different effects for Phase 3. One has some math gymnastics; the other approach is longer, but no math is involved. Read both and choose which approach you like. This description reads long, but it is actually fairly fast when performing it.
No Equivoque
No Forcing
No Gaff cards
No Estimation
No Electronics
No Duplicate cards
